If you are planning on coming to the Capo camp and are *not* signed up online (if you are signed up online, don’t worry b.c I know who you are) please respond to this email and let me know. I need to know for t-shirt info. If you don’t respond or don’t sign up online in the next day or two, I’ll assume you don’t want a t-shirt (the order needs to be finalized soon). Also let me know if you are bringing any friends.

10:30 am at the wrestling room. Be ready to rock n roll. If you respond to this email, please bring your registration check (made out to CUSD) and your materials fee check (made out to me personally) the first day of camp (Tues July 5). Also, summer league is T, Th 6:30 at Trabuco Hills. Remember any matches there go towards your count that’ll put you on the poster (at least 50 in spring and summer=you are on the poster. Signing up for camp is highly encouraged for going to summer league, but I’ve found not required, so come one come all to that.

Next, the first annual “bro-b-que” will be at my apartment Sunday July 10 from 1:30-4:30. Drinks and food on me. Come out, say hi to the wifey, say hi to my daughter (who is a little perpetual motion machine already!), and have a fun, relaxed time with the team. 24762 Hidden Hills Dr apt I, Laguna Niguel, CA 92677. See you then. Even though it’s called a “bro-b-que,” moms and sisters are of course welcome.

Lastly, there’s a little field trip in store at the end of camp. July 29-31 is the “Reebok Crossfit Games” in Carson, Ca at the Home Depot center. Though we won’t be focusing so much on strength during the summer (we’ll do a little, but priority is wrestling), our strength program is heavily influenced by the crossfit philosophy. The CF Games puts those results on display. If you haven’t ever been to a competition, you are in for a treat. If you’d like to go, you can get tickets at I’d like to go at least the first day. The whole thing is optional so do not worry if you cannot make it or afford it, but if you can go at all, do so, because it will be a treat. Be forewarned: alcohol will be served there, and of course your son won’t be able to purchase it, but I just want to let you know, just in case you have reservations about him being around any of that. And be ready for many to be walking around in fitness attire (ie, guys w/ board shorts and no shirt, girls in sports bra and workout gear)…would look normal at the beach, but looks a bit strange in a venue at the Home Depot Center, so I just want to let you know ahead of time…:)
