Awesome job to the following 4.0 students for fall semester:

Ian Brault

Mike Davis

Mike Logan

Logan Farrand

Jake Peets

Mike Logan’s 4.0 is especially notable, as it is the THIRD 4.0 semester he has had in a row.

Great job fellas!  These guys all have displayed the disciplined habits that make for a successful life.  We are proud of you!  Varsity lettermen who obtained a 4.0 have had their name and GPA put on our “Scholar athlete” board.

Ian Brault earned a 4.0 GPA for fall semester.

Congratulations to the following Cougar wrestlers for being our scholar athletes (from the left in the picture):

Ian Brault, Justin Dao, Mike Davis, Jake Peets, Ryan Merrill, Zane Coley, Mike Logan

These guys have a 3.5 cumulative GPA or above…good job guys!

CV Wrestling had EIGHT scholar athletes for fall semester.  To get a scholar athlete patch from the school, an athlete must a) varsity letter, and b) have a 3.75 GPA or above for fall semester.  The following wrestlers achieved that accomplishment:

Mike Davis

Kyle Coley

Shane Johnston

Mike Logan

Ryan Tye

Russell Fitzpatrick

Wesley Wong

Ryan Knecht

Mike Logan earned a 4.0 last semester

Wong, Knecht, Logan, and Coley earned 4.0’s, while Fitzpatrick earned a 5.0!  That is astounding, gentlemen!  Awesome job; you have made your team and your family very proud!

In other news, Landon Hume, Ian Brault, Jonny Gutierrez, Jason Garcia, and Phillip O’shea all medaled at tournaments last week.  Lets see if anyone can pick up some hardware this week.

We have quite a few young men who are doing very well in their classes so far this year.  The top five scholar athletes, based on grades in school loop as of 10/26 (not counting wrestling grade) is:

1) Wesley Wong: 4.0

2) Kayvon Mahmoodzadeh: 3.8

3) Jake Peets: 3.8

4) Ryan Tye: 3.5

5) Kyle Coley: 3.5

Also getting a 3.2 or above are: Zane Coley, Michael Davis, Aaron Geria, Ryan Knecht, Nico Lizardi, and Michael Logan. I’m sure I’m missing someone.  Post to comments if I have.

We are proud of you guys.  Keep up the good work.
